International Yoga Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Ramadevi Public School, bringing together students and teachers in a shared commitment to health and wellness. Organized by the NCC Cadets under the guidance of Mr. Parasuram, NCC Chief Officer, the event showcased the timeless relevance of yoga in modern life.
The Assembly Hall resonated with positivity as Master Gowtham, a National Champion and winner of numerous State and National-level medals, led the yoga demonstration by showcasing various yogasanas. The NCC cadets followed his instructions and performed the asanas and pranayama techniques with remarkable coordination and discipline. The demonstration highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, concentration, and inner harmony.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal, Mrs. Qamar Sultana, emphasized the significance of yoga in nurturing a healthy body and a peaceful mind. She encouraged students to embrace yoga as a daily practice and experience its transformative benefits.
The programme also recognized the achievements of Master Gowtham, L Dhinushshini Reddy and Srivalli, whose dedication and accomplishments brought pride and recognition to the institution. Their commitment to excellence served as an inspiration to all students.
The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to adopting yoga as a way of life. The event successfully reinforced the message that yoga is not merely a physical exercise but a holistic practice that promotes discipline, balance, and overall well-being.
