English Week Celebration is a significant event that highlights the importance of English Language in our lives. This celebration aims to promote linguistic skills, confidence and creativity among students, providing a platform for them to showcase their talents and abilities in English.

The English Week Celebration , organized for a week – long events that brought. together students from different classes and houses to participate in various activities such as Story Telling , Picture Description, Poetry Recitation and My Super Star

Day 1 : Story Telling :

The story telling competition was a resounding success, with participants from class 1 to class 3. They enthusiastically participated to showcase their creative talents , imagination and confidence.

RPS English Aptitude Test ( EAT ) :

The RPS English Aptitude Test Competition has been a successful initiative in assessing and enhancing students language proficiency. It not only evaluated their grammar , vocabulary and comprehension but also encourage them to develop stronger communication and analytical skills.

Day 2 :

Picture Description :

The Picture Description Competition was a great success. Students from class 1 to class 5 participated enthusiastically , describing the given picture with imagination and confidence. Their interpretations reflected not only creativity but also strong communication skills and deep understanding of visual details.

APEX SPELL BEE :

The Apex Spell Bee Competition was a resounding success. Students from class 2 to class 5 participated enthusiastically , displaying excellent spelling skills and quick thinking. The participants showcased not only their strong command over words but also their presence of mind.

MY SUPER STAR :

My Super Star Competition was a grand success and an event full of excitement and creativity. Students from class 1 to class 5 participated with great enthusiasm , dressing up as their favorite character. Each participant confidently introduced their chosen character and showcased their creativity through costumes, dialogues and expressions.

POEM RECITATION COMPETITION :

Poem Recitation Competition was a grand success with students from class 1 to class 5 participated with great enthusiasm. The event provided a valuable platform for students to develop their public speaking skills and appreciate the beauty of poetry.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY :

All the students of class 1 to class 5 gathered in the Assembly Hall.The programme was started with a prayer and a welcome note.It was then followed by a song , a skit and a dance performance . The highlight of the event was the speech given by our Principal Mrs Qamar Sultana and Mrs G.Mary Suneela,HOD of English who emphasized the significance of effective communication in English and encouraged students to develop their language skills. We are gratefulto our academic coordinator Mrs Lavanya Latha for her kind support and guidance for making this program a grand success. The program was concluded by vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

Conclusion :

The successful completion of the English Week Celebration marked a wonderful display of talent, creativity and enthusiasm among students. The English Week concluded on a cheerful note , inspiring everyone to continue learning and exploring the beauty 0f English language.
