The Class 10 Orientation Programme was conducted on 17th June 2026 in the Assembly Hall of RPS at 12:55 p.m. The programme was attended by the students of Class 10, class teachers, subject teachers, Academic Coordinator (High School), and the Principal, Mrs. Qamar Sultana.
The theme of the orientation, “CONQUER – Turning Aspirations into Achievements,” emphasized the importance of transforming goals and dreams into measurable success through dedication, discipline, and perseverance.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Poojitha, Academic Coordinator, who eloquently explained the significance of the theme and its tagline. She highlighted that preparedness, commitment, and a positive mindset are the key ingredients required to achieve excellence. Her inspiring words set the tone for the sessions that followed.
The next session was conducted by Mrs. Hemalatha, HOD Mathematics, who presented a detailed analysis of the ICSE 2025–26 results. She provided a comprehensive overview of the class-wise and subject-wise performance, highlighting distinctions, first classes, and other achievements. She further explained the importance of the mean grade and its impact on overall academic success. Stressing the significance of consistent effort, she encouraged students to take school examinations seriously as stepping stones towards achieving greater heights in the board examinations.
Following this, Mrs. Hima Bindu, Class Coordinator of Class 10, addressed the gathering. She elaborated on the three pillars of student success—Discipline, Academics, and Activities. Through her insightful presentation, she emphasized the need for students to maintain a balanced approach towards their studies, co-curricular involvement, and personal conduct. She also underscored the importance of time management, responsibility, and active participation in all school endeavours.
The programme concluded with an address by Mrs. Qamar Sultana, Principal, who presented an overall perspective on the preparedness expected from Class 10 students.
The orientation programme served as a motivating platform, equipping students with the clarity, confidence, and determination required to embark on their Class 10 journey successfully.
