A Class Orientation Programme was conducted for students with the objective of promoting positive behaviour, personal development and a healthy learning environment. The session focused on important aspects such as Discipline, Etiquette, Respect, Health and Hygiene, Communication Skills, Life Skills and Prevention of Bullying.
The programme began with an interactive discussion on Discipline, emphasizing punctuality, regular attendance, adherence to school rules and responsible behaviour both inside and outside the classroom. Students were encouraged to develop self-discipline as a key factor for academic and personal success.
The topic of Etiquette highlighted the importance of good manners, courteous behaviour and appropriate conduct in school. Students were guided on classroom etiquette, respectful interactions and maintaining a positive attitude towards peers and teachers.
A session on Respect stressed the value of respecting oneself, others and the school environment. Students learned the significance of empathy, tolerance and appreciation of diversity in building harmonious relationships.
The discussion on Health and Hygiene focused on personal cleanliness, healthy eating habits, regular exercise and maintaining a hygienic lifestyle to ensure physical and mental well-being.
