Stepping into Class IV is a big milestone, and our school ensured the journey began on an inspiring note. An orientation programme was conducted on 18th June 2026 in the Assembly Hall to warmly welcome students and familiarise them with the expectations, values, and facilities of their new academic year.
The programme commenced with students assembling in the hall, excited and curious. Mrs. Lavanya Latha, Academic Coordinator, welcomed them and encouraged them to embrace the new challenges of Class IV with confidence and enthusiasm. The Class Teachers then addressed the students, explained the school's motto, and guided them to uphold its values in daily life.
Students were introduced to the subjects for Class IV, the school's well-equipped labs, library, and digital classrooms, as well as the wide range of co-curricular activities, games, and sports available for holistic development. Special emphasis was placed on general discipline, etiquette, and school guidelines. The students were briefed on dress etiquette, bus etiquette, and the importance of maintaining decorum in and outside of school.
A special session focused on health awareness, highlighting the drawbacks of excessive sugar, soft drinks, and junk food, and promoting healthy eating habits. To build a safe and inclusive environment, the teachers spoke firmly about the school's zero-tolerance policy towards bullying. Students were also introduced to the school's House System, which fosters teamwork, leadership, and healthy competition.
The session concluded with an overview of the curriculum and co-curricular framework designed under NEP 2020, followed by a motivational video that left the young learners inspired and ready for the year ahead. The orientation set a positive tone, helping every Class IV student feel confident, valued, and excited to begin their new academic chapter.
