The Ramadevi Public School is affiliated to CISCE and runs classes up to Class X ICSE

The Council

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations was established in 1958 by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate with the assistance of the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act No. XXI of 1860.

The School Year

The beginning of the academic year of school shall be in the first week of June and the hours of instruction is as follows during the academic year for each class

The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and follows the syllabus prescribed by the Council in various subjects of examination for the Indian Certificate of School Examination (ICSE) for classes IX and X, The Indian Secondary Certificate (ISC) (for classes 11th and 12th).


Promotion will be done on the basis of the cumulative achievement level of the student throughout the year in the subjects he or she has been registered for. For promotions, a candidate is required to have obtained at least 35% marks on the cumulative average and a minimum attendance of 75% of the working days.

The Subjects Offered for The Examination at the end of Class X

The multi directional creative and critical thinking is practiced in the student development process and talent development. The career guidance is an embedded co-curricular programme helping in planning, preparation and execution for school programmes and future plans. The required and relevant information along with support is provided to achieve the desired levels of competencies. Students introspect responsibilities and tasks and will have an opportunity to ask the mentors about knowledge and development during the sessions of Mentor-Mentee.

The Teaching Taxonomy:

The RPS teaching community will have faculty development programme every year before reopening to discuss and decide about teaching learning strategies in the school for the holistic development of the child. The taxonomy is published in the Escritoire of the teacher and is followed during curricular transaction as per the agreed year plan.


Progress towards perfection

The non-scholastic aspects such as

  • SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work)
  • Literary Activities such as Debates, Elocution, Declamation, Recitation, Creative Writing
  • Scientific Activities like Explora, Cynosure with experimentation and exploration
