Yellow is the colour of clarity and sunlight. Yellow symbolizes personal power, fulfilment, abundance, courage and self confidence. The colour Yellow also stands for wisdom and intellect throughout the ages.

In order to emphasize the importance of Yellow Colour, our Pre-Primary wing celebrated the Yellow colour day on 19th September 2025 i.e. Friday, with utmost joy and happiness. This year we had a fusion of Yellow colour day and Bathukamma Celebrations.

On this day, the tiny tots were all dressed in traditional attires in different hues and tints of yellow to celebrate the occasion. Soft boards were beautifully decorated with yellow colour objects, posters and quotes highlighting the essence of Yellow Colour. The day began with a fun-filled introduction and discussion about yellow colour. Focusing on the theme, Children were not only dressed up in yellow but also brought yellow colour objects & toys like balls, teddy bears, dolls, flowers etc. They showed these objects to their friends and teachers which made the learning more interactive and sportier.

Children also brought beautifully decorated tower shaped Bathukammas. All the teachers and students of Pre-Primary gathered in the lawn for the Bathukamma celebrations. Children danced with full fervour to the songs played by the teachers. Children enjoyed Bathukamma paper flower activity, yellow flower is given as a takeaway. Overall, it was a fun and everlasting learning experience for Children in an integrated manner.
